Small engine problems we can talk through
The most common issues: engines that won't start at all or only start with starting fluid, engines that bog down or lose power under load, rough idling, surging, smoke, and fuel delivery problems like clogged lines, stuck shutoff valves, or varnished carburetors.
Dusty southern New Mexico conditions clog air filters faster than most people expect, and summer heat breaks down stored fuel quickly — both show up constantly in the problems we're asked about.
What kinds of equipment?
People often ask about equipment like pressure washers, water pumps, tillers, and other gas-powered tools. Equipment types mentioned here are examples of common inquiries, not a guarantee of service — send us the equipment type, brand, and model, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's something we work on.
